Logan is a compact airport with a few quirks that catch out even regular travellers: four terminals with different layouts, international arrivals that come out somewhere different from domestic ones, and roads that jam in minutes. Here is how a pre-booked car pickup works at each terminal, and what you can do to make it quicker.
Before you land
A smooth pickup starts before your flight leaves. Three things help most:
- Give us your flight number. We track the flight and move the pickup with it, early or late.
- Keep your chauffeur’s details handy. Their name, mobile number and plate arrive the evening before. Save the number so you recognise it.
- Turn your phone on after landing. A quick message saying you are waiting for bags lets your chauffeur plan the next few minutes.
Which terminal?
Logan has four terminals: A, B, C and E. Your boarding pass shows the terminal, and your airline’s app will confirm it. Airlines move between terminals from time to time, so check on the day rather than relying on memory. If you are not sure when you book, choose “Not sure yet” and we will confirm it from your flight number.
Terminal A
Terminal A is a single building with its own baggage claim on the lower level. Your chauffeur waits in baggage claim with a sign showing your name. Once you have your bags, they walk you out to the car.
Terminal B
Terminal B is long and has two sides, with the airline deciding which side you arrive on. Your chauffeur waits in the baggage claim for your airline. If you step out and cannot see them, send a message rather than walking to the other side; they will come to you.
Terminal C
Terminal C serves many domestic flights and is connected to Terminal E. Your chauffeur waits in the Terminal C baggage claim with your name on a sign.
Terminal E: international arrivals
If you are arriving from abroad, you will clear immigration and customs before you come out into the Terminal E arrivals hall. That is where your chauffeur waits, holding a sign. Customs can take anywhere from ten minutes to well over an hour, which is why we track your flight rather than your scheduled time and why waiting time after landing is included.
Meet and greet or curbside?
Meet and greet means your chauffeur comes inside to baggage claim. It is the calmest option, especially with children, a lot of luggage, or a first visit to Boston. Curbside means you meet the car outside once you have your bags. It can be quicker if you are travelling light and know the airport well. Choose either in the booking form.
What if my flight is late, or early?
We follow your flight from take-off. If it lands early, your chauffeur is already there. If it is delayed, the pickup moves with it and you are not charged for the airline’s delay. After landing, the first 60 minutes are included, which covers a normal wait for bags and customs. If your bags go missing and you need to file a report, message your chauffeur so they know.
Travelling with children
Add infant seats, toddler seats or boosters in the booking form and they are fitted before the car reaches the airport. Tell us about strollers and large items so we send a car with room for them.
Winter arrivals
Snow and ice can slow the roads around Logan but rarely close the airport for long. Your chauffeur leaves early when the weather turns and stays in touch if the roads are slow.
A quick checklist for landing
- Phone on, flight mode off.
- Message your chauffeur: “Landed, waiting for bags.”
- Head to baggage claim, or the Terminal E arrivals hall for international flights.
- Look for the sign with your name.
That is all there is to it. If you have a Logan pickup coming up, you can book it in a minute and see the price before you confirm.
