A car service between cities sounds like a luxury until you add up the alternatives: a ride to South Station, a train, a taxi at the other end, and luggage carried through all three. For families, small groups, anyone with bags or equipment, and anyone who wants to work on the way, a car from door to door is often simply the better trip.
Where we go
We pick up anywhere in Greater Boston and New England and drive to anywhere in the continental US. The most common trips are Boston to New York City, Boston to Providence, Boston to Portland, Maine, and Boston to Cape Cod, Newport and the college towns of New England. New York area airports are part of the same service when your flight leaves from there.
Boston to New York
Plan on about four hours from Boston to Manhattan outside rush hour. Friday afternoons, Sunday evenings and holiday weekends add time, especially on the approach to the city. If you have a meeting, a show or a check-in time, tell us and we suggest a departure time with a sensible buffer. Your chauffeur picks the route on the day, whether that is I-95 along the coast or inland via I-84.
A working drive, or a quiet one
The cars have Wi-Fi and bottled water, and the rear seats in the S-Class and the SUVs are made for long distances. Take calls, finish the deck, or sleep. If you want the car quiet, say so and your chauffeur will leave the radio off.
Stops along the way
Add planned stops when you book, such as collecting a colleague in Providence or a lunch in Mystic, and they are included in the quote. Short comfort stops on the day do not need booking.
Groups and luggage
The Escalade and Suburban take six passengers and six checked bags, which makes a family trip to New York or a team heading to a client site straightforward. For larger groups, we can send several cars together or arrange a Sprinter through our partner network.
Priced up front
Long trips are priced on distance and time for the car you choose, with the full breakdown before you book. Tolls and airport parking are added at cost on the invoice. Nothing is charged when you book; we invoice after the ride.
