Without a plan

What usually goes wrong.

  • The ride is booked in an app by a seventeen year old and nobody else can see it.
  • You do not know who is driving, what route they take, or who else got in.
  • Plans change at nine at night and there is no one to call.
  • Getting home becomes whatever car will accept the fare at midnight.

All of it comes down to the booking. That is the part we run differently.

What you get on this ride

Everything below is in the price you are quoted, before you book anything.

  • A parent or guardian as the booking contact
  • Pickup, photos, venue and home times agreed in advance
  • No alcohol in the car, and no changes to the route without the contact

Prom night is a big night for students and a nervous one for parents. We run it the way parents would want: a plan agreed in advance, a parent as the contact, and a chauffeur who sticks to the plan.

A parent is the contact

A parent or guardian books the car and approves the plan: pickup address, any photo stop, the venue, an approved after-party if there is one, and the drop-offs home. Their mobile number is on the booking, and the chauffeur calls them, not a student, if anything needs to change.

The rules, stated plainly

  • No alcohol or drugs in the car for anyone under 21.
  • No route changes on the night without the contact’s approval.
  • Everyone wears a seat belt.
  • If a rule is broken, the chauffeur ends the ride safely and calls the contact.

We share these with the group before the night so there are no surprises.

Which cars

Our SUVs, the Escalade and Suburban, take six students each and look the part in photos. For bigger groups, we send several SUVs together or arrange a stretch limousine, Sprinter or party bus through our partner network.

Timing tips

Photo stops always take longer than planned, and venues often have a queue of cars at the entrance. Build in thirty minutes of slack between photos and arrival, and choose a clear meeting point for pickup at the end of the night. We will suggest one when we confirm.

Formals and galas

The same approach works for college formals, black-tie galas and charity dinners, with the passenger as the contact when everyone is an adult.

How it works

You only do the first step.

  1. A parent books

The parent or guardian is the contact and approves the plan.

  2. We agree the plan

Pickup, photo stop, venue, after-party if approved, home.

  3. The chauffeur sticks to it

Changes on the night go through the contact first.

  4. Home safely

The contact gets a message when everyone is dropped off.

Questions people ask before booking this

Who is the contact on the night?

The parent or guardian who booked. Route changes go through them.

Is alcohol allowed?

No. There is no alcohol in the car for under-21 passengers, and chauffeurs will end the ride and call the contact if the rule is broken.

How many students fit?

Six per SUV. For bigger groups we send several SUVs or arrange a larger vehicle through our partner network.
