Terms of service

These terms apply when you book a ride with AZ Black Transportation. Booking a ride means you accept them.

The service

We provide chauffeured ground transport with a professional driver. Vehicles are booked by class, for example sedan or SUV, and the specific model may vary. Where a booking is fulfilled by a partner operator, for example a Sprinter van or a coach, we remain your point of contact.

Bookings and confirmation

A booking is a request until we confirm it. We aim to confirm within 30 minutes. Online bookings need at least 3 hours of notice; for anything sooner, call or message us and we will tell you honestly whether we can do it.

Prices and payment

The quote shown when you book covers the trip as described. A 20% gratuity is included in every quote. Tolls and airport parking are added at cost on the invoice. There is no payment at the time of booking. We invoice you after the ride, and payment is due on the terms shown on the invoice.

Extra charges apply where the trip changes: additional stops at $20 each, waiting beyond the included time at $1.25 a minute, child seats at $15 each, and meet and greet at $25 where it is added. Late night pickups carry a surcharge of 15% between 23:00 and 05:00.

In the vehicle

• Seat belts must be worn.
• Smoking and vaping are not allowed in any vehicle.
• Passengers under 21 may not consume alcohol. Passengers aged 21 and over may bring their own drinks in moderation, except on prom and school bookings, and not in glassware.
• If a vehicle needs specialist cleaning after a ride, a cleaning fee of $250 applies.
• Your chauffeur may end a ride if behaviour puts anyone’s safety at risk.

Luggage and belongings

Tell us about luggage when you book so we send a vehicle that fits it. We take care with your property but cannot accept responsibility for items left in a vehicle. If you leave something behind, contact us as soon as you can and we will do our best to return it.

Delays and things outside anyone’s control

We plan routes and timing carefully, but traffic, weather, road closures and airport operations are outside our control. We cannot guarantee arrival times and are not liable for missed flights or events caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Where a delay is ours, tell us and we will put it right.

Insurance and licensing

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our liability for any booking is limited to the price of that booking.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
