What we collect when you book, why, and how to ask for a copy or a deletion.
This policy explains what AZ Black Transportation collects when you use this website or book a ride, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It was last updated on the date shown at the end.
Who we are
AZ Black Transportation, a chauffeured car service operating from Boston, Massachusetts. You can reach us by email at Booking@azblacktransportation.com or by phone on +1 (203) 850-8864.
What we collect
- Booking details. Pickup and drop-off addresses, dates and times, flight numbers, passenger and luggage counts, the vehicle you choose, and any notes you add.
- Contact details. Your name, email address and mobile number, and those of a passenger when you book for someone else.
- Consent records. Whether you opted in to WhatsApp updates, the wording you agreed to, and the time and IP address of that agreement.
- Website data. Pages you visit, the referring site, and campaign parameters in the link you arrived through.
Why we collect it
To quote and provide the ride you asked for, to reach you and your chauffeur on the day, to invoice you afterwards, to keep records for tax and insurance, and to improve the service. We do not sell personal information.
Messages you receive
Booking confirmations and ride details are transactional and are sent by email. WhatsApp updates are optional: you opt in when you book, and you can reply STOP at any time to stop them.
Who we share it with
- The chauffeur driving your ride, and, for larger vehicles, the partner operator fulfilling it.
- Our email delivery provider, our WhatsApp messaging provider, and our website host.
- Mapping and routing providers, to calculate distances and show routes.
- Cloudflare, for the anti-spam check on our forms.
- Analytics and advertising tools, where you have not opted out, and only for website measurement.
Cookies and tracking
We use a small amount of browser storage to remember your booking while you fill in the form, and to keep the campaign parameters of the link you arrived through. Analytics tags load through a tag manager. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load those tags.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for the retention period set in our booking system, currently 24 months. After that, personal details are removed from the record and only the operational history remains.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email Booking@azblacktransportation.com and we will respond within the time the law allows. If you are a Massachusetts or other United States resident with specific privacy rights, those rights apply and we will honour them.
Children
This website is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Children travel with us as passengers on a booking made by an adult.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page.
