Prom night is a big night for students and a nervous one for parents. We run it the way parents would want: a plan agreed in advance, a parent as the contact, and a chauffeur who sticks to the plan.
A parent is the contact
A parent or guardian books the car and approves the plan: pickup address, any photo stop, the venue, an approved after-party if there is one, and the drop-offs home. Their mobile number is on the booking, and the chauffeur calls them, not a student, if anything needs to change.
The rules, stated plainly
- No alcohol or drugs in the car for anyone under 21.
- No route changes on the night without the contact’s approval.
- Everyone wears a seat belt.
- If a rule is broken, the chauffeur ends the ride safely and calls the contact.
We share these with the group before the night so there are no surprises.
Which cars
Our SUVs, the Escalade and Suburban, take six students each and look the part in photos. For bigger groups, we send several SUVs together or arrange a stretch limousine, Sprinter or party bus through our partner network.
Timing tips
Photo stops always take longer than planned, and venues often have a queue of cars at the entrance. Build in thirty minutes of slack between photos and arrival, and choose a clear meeting point for pickup at the end of the night. We will suggest one when we confirm.
Formals and galas
The same approach works for college formals, black-tie galas and charity dinners, with the passenger as the contact when everyone is an adult.
